I am so excited to announce the launch of the limited edition 2017 Soul Stuff “HEARTBEAT” T-shirt. For the next three weeks this shirt will be available for sale via this link >>>> http://bit.ly/SoulStuffHeartbeat
A portion of the proceeds of each shirt sold will be directly donated to the certified nonprofit The National Council Against Domestic Violence, an organization I have loved since 2015. I am hopeful that we will be able to make a difference in the lives of women and children affected by violence. The Soul Stuff community was created and continues to be a space for women who are called to create, called to lead, and called to change. Below you will be able to read an excerpt from an interview with Rose from NCADV about the wonderful work they do every day! Please consider purchasing a shirt and making a difference today!
Here is an excerpt from an interview from 2015:
Rose: We are celebrating our 35th anniversary this year as the national coalition. We are the only remaining grassroots organization in the country addressing domestic violence from the perspectives of survivor’s voices. We are a national organization that represents programs and survivors and also works to provide lobbying and representation around legislative issues and speaks to national issues, media issues and training issues. We think it’s amazing that we have survived all of this time and that we are still here providing a voice and providing a service. We have newsletters, we have a website we have physicians papers, we provide training and we have a number of workshops going on. For many years, we’ve run a project with plastic surgeons to help survivors get their faces put back together after a severe assault. We run economic empowerment programs for financial planning that provide services to programs that are helping survivors get their physical house in order so to speak and learn to empower themselves around financial issues. We put on fabulous conferences every other year. We do a lot!”
